Inspire. Encourage. Empower.
Carma's dance training began when she was 3 years old.
She continued her dance training into her teen years
where she taught dance, as a small business,
in the basement of her family's home.
In the '80's, she attended many New York dance conventions.
The spark of inspiration was ignited for her
after she had taken several New York classes
from Frank Hatchett, Gregory Hines,
Gus Giordano and Joe Tremaine.
Carma's love of dance continued into college where she founded the Bryant University Dance Club. Now, 30 years later, the Bryant Dance Club is still active today.
Although Carma's dance career calling emerged during her teens and continued through college, she waited until after college, (and a few corporate jobs), before she fulfilled her dreams. Incorporating her passion and imagination, it became her life's mission to share her love of the creative arts.
She has skillfully integrated her program development expertise, performing arts background and teaching experience with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Marketing. This dynamic combination resulted in the launching of Carma's Dance Creations in 1991. She later changed the name to Carma's Creations to broadened the company's reach and to address the growing needs of her clients.
Carma has been a business owner, choreographer, and dance teacher for over 25 years. She has produced over 25 recitals and has shared her love of dance with thousands of children and adults. She would be honored to share her love of dance with your child at one of the pre-schools/private schools where her dance program is offered.

"Hello Miss Carma, I want to thank you for the wonderful dance & theater class Brooke had with you at Dos Vientos. Brooke enjoyed the class very much and we were very impressed with what she learned and how she performed. Look forward to additional classes in the future. Your love of dance truly shows in your teaching."
Regards, Rena Birdsong
"My 5 year old daughter Alexis couldn't wait to go to "acting class" each week. Although the class was designed for 6-8 year olds, Miss Carma graciously accepted Alexis into her dance program. Miss Carma has the amazing ability to tailor her instruction to the abilities and desires of the children in her class. Alexis always felt comfortable with whatever Miss Carma was teaching. When Alexis's first performance was over, she was already asking me to sign her up for another one of Miss Carma's classes. Being with Miss Carma has been an extreme joy for her and Miss Carma has helped to instill in a soft spoken child, some courage and confidence, more than I could have ever expected or hoped for!" "We cannot say enough great things about Miss Carma. We have taken
Tap, Jazz, Ballet and a Dance & Theater class with Miss Carma. We are always amazed with what our now 4 year old, Casey, has learned in these classes. We have taken other dance classes locally but nothing has compared to Miss Carma's classes. She is very good at assessing each student's skills and keeping a young group of children engaged while challenging them with a great routine. Each time the session ends, we are overwhelmed with emotion and pride at what our daughter has learned by the final performance. Miss Carma is a true professional and a talented individual who truly loves what she does and it shows through her instruction." Linda Bauer, Casey's Mom
"Carma is a wonderful and dedicated instructor/teacher. My only wish was that the class had run longer! As a parent I was not only impressed with Carma's obvious love and passion for her work, but also for each and every individual child. She handled all ages and personalities so gracefully and energetically. The final performance came together so perfectly and so adorable...and only after 8 weeks of just meeting once a week! Music choices and backdrop a real plus! Very impressed! Thank you again...it was so great!!! Aurawyn loves you!" Audry Catalano
"I cannot say enough amazing things about Miss Carma and her outstanding company Carma’s Creations. I have had the pleasure of knowing Miss Carma for over 20 years, and was lucky to be one of her prior dance students. Miss Carma is not only an amazing dance teacher, but also a wonderful role model. She is a driven, organized teacher who develops inspiring relationships with her students. Her ability to connect with her students and her teaching talents are truly superior. She always displays a positive attitude and is a positive influence on all of her students. I highly recommend Carma’s Creations. Every child will have the most wonderful experience, just like I did!"

"As the Parish Administrator of Saint Bonaventure Church in Davie FL I had the wonderful opportunity to meet and have Carma begin a dance program in our preschool. This soon developed into a program that involved our adults and continued to expand into our elementary school as well. Carma not only brought dance to the children but a huge part of herself, she cares for each student and brings out the best in each. Over the years we never had a repeat of any song or dance in our recitals and everyone from child, parent to grandparent was touched by Carma. She is an amazing caring person, a wonderful choreographer and dancer which makes her a great role model for our children and young adults today."
