Dance Classes
(Grouped by ages: 3's, 4's and 5's, and 6-8's)
Carma's dance training spans 3 decades. She has been teaching dance for 20 years and owned her own dance company for 10 of those years in South Florida. She has produced dance productions in New York, California, Rhode Island, Connecticut, North Carolina, Florida and Italy. Throughout her dance career, she competed nationally and internationally. Carma has won several trophies and awards for her dance ability as well as her choreography.
The goal of every class is to build each dancer's self–esteem while developing an appreciation for the art of dance. Carma's classes are upbeat, positive and structured which allows for learning and fun to take place simultaneously.
In each class, ballet, jazz, and tap technique will be taught relative to the age of the dancers. Each class will consist of: a warm up, floor work, technique time, a routine segment, a cool down, and a review. The classes are designed to increase coordination and motor skills as well as confidence and flexibility. A final performance for family and friends will be held at the end of the school year.

Interactive Story Time - “A Friend Indeed” — Ages 3–6
This program is specifically designed to strengthen your child's body and mind at the same time—the best of both worlds. In addition to these two segments, social skill strengthening and character education are included in this curriculum. Children will jump into this story, written by Carma Lee, as they journey through the rainforest to uncover the secret words to open up Coconut Cave. Inside Coconut Cave there is a playground, beyond all playgrounds, filled with balance beams, forts, rainbow colored balls, plush jungle puppets and so much more!
As they journey through this adventure, students will discover there is much more to this story than meets the eye.
The characters of this story are friendly jungle animals as well as a dancing dragon from another land. Each week as students "step" into each page of this delightful story they will be:
- improving their physical fitness skills & learning the importance of good nutritional choices
- reinforcing their academic skills through "big school" concepts such as letters & words, shapes & colors, numbers & counting, and science & nature
- reinforcing their social skills regarding sharing, showing kindness, taking turns, importance of good choices, saying sorry when it's appropriate, and more!

Year Long Creative Movement Program — Ages 4–7
This creative movement curriculum consists of warm–up exercises, dance steps, pre–ballet movements, story interpretation and movement exploration. We use soft structures for gross motor development through imaginative stories and dances. These creative movement and dance classes provide developmentally appropriate opportunities to gain balance, strength, self–expression, confidence, and sequential learning. This allows children to learn at their own pace. The activities target large and small muscles through strengthening exercises as well improving coordination, increasing muscle strength, and developing muscle control and fine motor skills. Children have shown an increase in their self–confidence and improved memory skills from this training. This age appropriate cardiovascular workout is followed by cool down activities.

Year Long Theatre Program — Ages 5–10
